Thanks to its favorable climate, sugar cane grows everywhere, especially in the north of the country. This is where the famous Millonario distillery is located for more than a century. This is where we produce the famous rum Ron Millonario 15 years old Reserva Especial.

Elaboration
Millonario 15 years is a rum of Peruvian molasses, distilled in old Scottish pot stills and aged in high quality American and Slovenian oak barrels: the distillery has its own cooperage.
Aged rum in Solera system is a method of assembling old and young rums. Indeed, as can be seen in the diagram below, the method consists in stacking barrels on top of each other and the part of the old rums is completed by young rum. The division into four levels subtly marry the different types of aging and give the rum all its particularity and complexity: candied fruit, plum, cloves, toffee, raisins ... a chewing rum.
It is a traditional rum that deserves this name because it is one of the oldest rums of Peru. Presented in its traditional woven straw weave is here to remember!

Tasting notes
Color : Brown gold.
Nose : Rich and warm marked by prune, caramel, tropical fruits, with chestnut honey, a few hazelnuts and cloves.
Palate : Gourmet and sweet, but with a certain freshness. On a dominant spicy, we find all the fruitiness of the nose, as well as toffee, banana flambé, a little candied fig. The whole is round, very melted, elegant and charming, without any aggressiveness.
Finish: Long and persistent on the palate with a pleasant spicy touch.
